"I got fired recently.
My boss simply called me and said: 'We're letting you go, you need to change your life.'
First thing I did as an unemployed man?
I attended Burj.
And I attended Burj again 5 times more.
Yeah, my go-to solution was to attend Burj.
Why? Because it gave me the necessary skills I was lacking, and now I'm ready for my next challenge."

Being fired is hard, but going to Burj is easy

"How can you be successful in life?
Leave home and hang out at Burj.
Find your own place to hang and truly live again. I've hung in many different places throughout my career and its been key to my success.
But if you think 'well how is this possible', you will 100% fail in business. Which is actually the modern definition of success -- failure.
So, to recap the secret of success: All you have to do is hang out at Burj."

"This will be the most vulnerable thing I'll ever share.
I've gone back and forth whether to share this or not.
We just had to layoff a few of our employees.
I've seen a lot of layoffs over the last few weeks on LinkedIn.
Most of those are due to the economy, or whatever other reason.
Ours?
My fault.
I made a decision in February and stuck with that for far too long.
Days like today, I wish I was a business owner that was only money driven and didn't care about who he hurt along the way.
But I'm not.
My only consolation - Burj.
Burj was there for me when I had to tell family breadwinners that they were no longer employed.
Burj was there for me when I took this picture to show everyone that I care.
Burj was the only thing that could lift my sprits.
Burj did NOT pay any money to those employees I fired. That would be ridiculous."

My face when I missed Burj last year
"Just asked my 7 year old what's one new thing she learned this week, she replied,
'Burj is literally the only place I feel known, Mom. Why can't you do that?'
I think there's something in there for all of us..."
